Today, Tax Principal Emily Matthews, was quoted in The Wall Street Journal article, “The Hot Debate: Can You Deduct Prepaid Property Taxes?” With the impending April 17th deadline, a debate is in full swing around prepaid 2018 property taxes and whether they can be deducted in full.
Matthews says, “I think we’ll see a lot of people who prepaid estimated taxes opt to deduct them.”
